The Stoney Stanton yarn bombers meet regularly in our library on alternate Saturday afternoons throughout the year.

They are here from 2pm - 4pm and ask for a donation of £1 towards the cost of hiring the library.

They are a small group of ladies (between 10 - 14 of them) who enjoy meeting up for a natter and share the projects they are working on. They have a site on Facebook, if you are interested it’s an open site called Stoney Stanton Yarn Bombers and members can check up on up-to- date projects that are being worked on when they decorate the village and meeting dates.

They also offer help with both knitting and crocheting and are always keen to meet absolute beginners who want to have a go!  They provide all the materials needed - wool, hooks and needles.

Pauline and Robin are the only two original Committe members from the start up of the Community Library still involved today. Robin stepped down at the event held to celebrate the 10 years and thank the current volunteers and two past committee members.

We have raised nearly £135 so far with recycling ink cartridges.
