Located in St Michael's Court, close to St Michael's Church, Stoney Stanton Community Library aims to bring the love of books to villagers of all ages - and we can't wait to welcome you through our doors.
Run entirely by volunteers for the last seven years, as a library, we want to remain accessible to all, while providing a service which reflects our wonderful community and promotes literacy to all ages.
The library offers all the facilities of a council run library (including being linked to Leicestershire Libraries Computer System), unfortunately the library is no longer funded by Leicestershire County Council, instead funding comes from fundraising in the community, your wonderful donations and through applying for grants.
Please do become a Library User and make use of the facilities your community library has to offer. .

From 13 November until 19 November, the library will be closed for the long awaited installation of a new boiler. We are sorry for any inconvenicence this may cause.
From 31 October, on the last Tuesday of each month, we'll be holding community drop in sessions between 2pm and 4pm.
Love Blaby Lottery is a weekly online lottery created to support local causes in Blaby District. Tickets are only £1 per week with 60% going to local good causes and prizes up to £25,000. Our dedicated page means when you buy a ticket and nominate Stoney Stanton Community Library, the donation comes to us.

The library is available to hire outside of opening hours for £12 per hour. Tea/Coffee making facilities available. One-off and regular bookings taken subject to availability.
